The Summer Institute Exhibition, OCAD U

September 2018

Time cards were created to make one endless loop. Visitors were asked to “punch in” their time of entering the gallery, and “punch out” upon exiting using a vintage punch card time clock-- a device used for workers to record start and end times for hourly employees at a place of business- -as a comment on the endless but quantified labour in art institutions.
